Introduction
"Winter in the US" is a collection that captures the vast diversity of the American landscape under snow and cold. From the stillness of small towns blanketed in white to the towering skylines softened by winter light, the series reflects the season’s many faces. The collection moves between rural quiet and urban rhythm, showing how winter transforms both natural and built environments. Across highways, forests, and frozen lakes, a new atmosphere emerges—sometimes isolating, sometimes comforting. This project is not only about places, but about the mood of winter itself: its resilience, stillness, and quiet poetry spread across a continent.

Cities in Snow
Winter changes the character of American cities. Streets bustle at a slower pace, skylines shimmer in cold sunlight, and ordinary corners become cinematic when touched by snow. Photographs of places like New York and Chicago highlight how architecture interacts with weather, turning steel and stone into canvases of frost.

Rural Landscapes
Beyond the cities, rural America tells a quieter story. Fields stretch into white horizons, barns sit in solitude, and roads cut through endless snow. The images emphasize simplicity and rhythm, reflecting the patience of landscapes waiting for spring. These scenes capture both harshness and beauty, where survival and serenity coexist.

The Road as a Thread
Winter travel is central to this project. Highways lined with snow, small-town gas stations glowing in the cold, and cars moving like dots against vast whiteness all become part of the narrative. The road acts as a thread, connecting distant regions and experiences, symbolizing both movement and endurance.
